Whether performing with world-renowned musicians like Jason Marsalis, conducting jazz ensembles and orchestras throughout Texas, or performing his own compositions worldwide, he is known for his versatility, creativity, and brilliant musicianship.

The band specializes in jazz and international standards from the early 20th century, interspersed with multilingual originals by the band. Julie has self produced several albums, including her latest, Suspended, an album of originals, all available under Julie Slim on all music platforms.
